An 1835 image from the Dublin Penny Journal depicting the ruins of the east side of the old Four Courts at Christchurch. The building – no more than a very large, oddly-shaped hall, with the four courts separated from one another by curtains, was screened from exterior view by surrounding houses, likewise demolished by the date of this image.
